To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what funding was given to Relate: National Marriage Guidance for England and Wales in each of the last five years; what funding is set for 1989–90; and if he will make a statement.

Subject to the approval of Parliament the provision for 1989–90 will be £959,310. That provision will be reviewed during the year.
