§ Mr. NeedhamThe Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland published a consultative paper on local government last November, setting out proposals with regard to the conduct of district council business, the administrative structure of environmental health and building control services, and the introduction of compulsory competitive tendering for certain services. Comments were requested by I March 1989 and are now being considered.
