§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Mackay of Clashfern)The Law Commission state in their twenty-third annual report (para. 2.64) that work has begun on a consolidation of the Education Acts. I understand however that this is a major project, and that even with counsel working on it full-time it is unlikely that a Consolidation Bill will be ready for introduction before May 1990 at the earliest.
