§ Mr. SainsburyThe wide geographical spread of British forces and their dependants in Germany meant that it was inappropriate to establish one YTS training centre. Eleven YTS areas have been established to coincide with major garrison areas and "on" and "off' job YTS training is carried out within existing service establishments, service education centres and in one Service Children's Education Authority school. It is not intended to establish dedicated YTS centres in any other country.
