398Wreceive a salary increase of more than £2,000 per annum on the implementation of the 1989 report of the interim advisory committee on teachers' pay.
§ Mrs. RumboldThe Government have accepted the recommendation of the interim advisory committee on school teachers' pay and conditions that salaries of heads and deputies should be increased by 7.5 per cent. from 1 April 1989. As a result some 2,050 head teachers will receive salary increases of more than £2,000 per annum.
