§ Mr. PortilloMy officials have recently received a joint paper from Greater Manchester passenger transport 411W executive and British Rail which seeks to demonstrate that the proposed rail link is commercially viable. The paper will be discussed at a meeting between the relevant parties and the Department at the end of this week.
