HC Deb 06 March 1989 vol 148 c384W
Mr. John Marshall

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations the British Government have made to the Russian authorities about their continued failure to grant an exit visa to Leo Alexandrovskey of Leningrad who first applied for such a visa in 1978.

Mrs. Chalker

The case of Lev Aleksandrovsky has only very recently been brought to our attention by my hon. Friend. We are now including it among those cases on which we consistently press the Soviet authorities.
