§ Mr. TrippierAn additional £20 million of resources have been made available for 1989–90 to 29 local284W authorities (isted in my reply to a question from the hon. Member for Burnley (Mr. Pike) on 3 February, Official Report, columns 429–30, to encourage the renewal of the private sector housing stock in selected areas. The authorities concerned are expected to steer a significant proportion of these additional resources towards owners on low incomes.
