§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. and learned Friend has received representations from parents of pupils attending St. Aelred's high school, Paisley and others expressing opposition to a proposal by Strathclyde regional council to close the school. That proposal has been submitted by the education authority to my right hon. and learned Friend for his consent.
