To ask the Prime Minister if she will pay an official visit to the Nottingham, North constituency to explain Her Majesty's Government's policy on the poll tax.

I have at present no plans to do so. The Government have no plans for a poll tax. The purpose and application of the community charge has been admirably explained in the leaflets published by the Department of the Environment and the Welsh Office.
