To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what percentage of serving members of the Regular Army are home owners.

Mr. Neubert

The current percentage of home ownership by serving members of the Regular Army is 26.3 per cent. This figure represents 71.4 per cent. of officers and 18.4 per cent. of other ranks.
