§ Mr. Win GriffithsTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Bridgend on 12 June,Official Report, columns 306–308, concerning the applications from the Welsh water authority for variations of existing discharge consents for sewage treatment works, if he will indicate for which of the works listed requests were made for the discharge standards to be (a) relaxed and (b) tightened up.
§ Mr. GristI shall write to the hon. Gentleman with full details of the applications as soon as possible and I will place a copy of my reply in the Library of the House.
