§ Mr. MaddenTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what representations he has received in the current year, to date, urging the renewal of the multi-fibre arrangement.
§ Mr. Alan ClarkSupport for the renewal of the multi-fibre arrangement was expressed by representatives of the Apparel Knitwear and Textiles Alliance and by a delegation from the all-party group for textiles and the textile industry support campaign when I met them on 11 April and 18 May respectively. In addition I have received seven letters in this sense from hon. Members and the United Kingdom industry.
