§ Mr. Douglas HurdThe guidelines on the issue and use of firearms, which apply to all police forces in England and Wales, were revised in December 1986 by the Association of Chief Police Officers in conjunction with the Home Office working group on the police use of firearms.
A copy of these guidelines was placed in the Library on 3 February 1987, as part of a summary of the working group's 1986 report.
