§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyMembers of the British Aerosol Manufacturers Association have agreed to end all 319W non-essential use of chlorofluorocarbons in their products by the end of this year. The industry is actively researching alternatives to chlorofluorocarbons in medical equipment and we expect these to be introduced as soon as they are commercially available and have been approved by the appropriate authorities.
