To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what information he has regarding levels of chlorine in public water supplies in Scotland.

Detailed information on levels of chlorine in public water supplies in Scotland is not held centrally. Water put into supply normally has a level of residual chlorine of 0.1–0.5 mg per litre according to circumstances.
