HC Deb 06 June 1989 vol 154 c120W
Mr. Barry Jones

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish the number of prosecutions for tax fraud, the total number of people involved and the amount of money involved in Wales; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Norman Lamont

[holding answer 25 May 1989]: The Inland Revenue keeps aggregate figures for prosecutions in England and Wales. Separate figures for Wales could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
