§ Mr. MoynihanNone. In December 1986, the Home Office issued a revised version of the guide to safety at sports grounds. Chapter 11 of the document—"Fire Safety"—dealt, among other fire-related issues, with recommendation 10 of the Popplewell report. The technical content of the building regulations continues to be under review. Later this year, the Department will issue a consultation document covering all aspects of the building regulations as they relate to fire.
