To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what was the value of(a) United Kingdom exports to Iraq, and (b) United Kingdom imports from Iraq in the last year for which information is available.

The provisional figures for 1988 are(a) United Kingdom exports to Iraq £412.1 million; (b) United Kingdom imports from Iraq £43.4 million.
