Mr. Freeman

An official of the Department is medical secretary to the expert group on cryptosporidium in water supplies, which was announced on 2 March by my hon. and learned Friend the Minister of State for Water and Planning at column 286; another attends its meetings as an observer. The Department monitors other outbreaks of cryptosporidiosis, irrespective of source, in association with the communicable disease surveillance centre which collects data on this disease.
