To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress has been made by the ministerial group on alcohol misuse.

The group, chaired by my right hon. Friend the Lord President of the Council has made good progress. A report of action taken during the group's first year is published today. This gives an account of work in progress and takes a forward look at issues to be considered in the coming months. Antrim since they were closed; and if he will publish details of available statistics for a comparable period in the two years prior to closure.
