To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what was the number of persons proceeded against for scheduled offences in Northern Ireland in the first six months of the current year; how many persons pleaded guilty to the principal offence; and how many persons in such contested cases were found not guilty of the principal offence;

(2) whether the security statistics for the first half of the current year are now available together with details of persons charged with terrorist-type offences and convictions for scheduled offences up to the latest convenient date.
