§ Mr. LangThere are no comprehensive statistics on redundancies. A consistent series on redundancies involving 10 or more workers confirmed to the Employment Department: The Training Agency is available only back to 1977. The number of such redundancies in Scottish manufacturing industry in each year from 1977 to 1988 is set out in the table.
