§ Mr. RyderOver the last five years as a whole, there has been a small net public sector borrowing requirement (PSBR) of about £1 billion. However, in the last two years, there has been a public sector debt repayment (PSBR) totalling £18.3 billion and a further substantial net repayment is forecast for the current year.
