HC Deb 28 July 1989 vol 157 c1187W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received concerning the proposed sale of former Greater London council playing fields at South Oxley, Hertfordshire; and what action he is taking to ensure continued public access and use.

Mrs. Virginia Bottomley

The Department has received two representations expressing concern about the future of the playing fields, which lie within the green belt. The London residuary body is discussing their future with Three Rivers district council. No action by my right hon. Friend is contemplated.
