To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many cases of botulism, salmonella enteriditis, salmonella typhimurium, listeriosis and other types of food poisoning have been detected and reported in Wales since 1983 for each month of each year.

[holding answer 24 July 1989]: The information is not readily available in the detail requested. Annual figures for 1983 to 1988 are given in the tables. There are no separate figures on food-borne campylobacter infections.
