§ Mr. CurryThe intervention board contracts storage space for intervention cereals with storekeepers who have suitable premises and the necessary expertise. Records are not maintained to show whether any of the companies offer into intervention grain which they have grown themselves but the intervention board's policy is not to accept offers of grain for storage in the stores in which it is held at the time of offer. Nor would a company's offer of grain he allocated for storage in one of its own stores.
§ 50. Mr. CousinsTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he proposes to announce a decision on the relocation of the intervention hoard.
§ Mr. GummerMy right hon. Friend the Minister and my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are considering with colleagues the intervention board's proposals to locate part of its work away from the south-east of England. An announcement will be made as soon as possible.
