§ Mr. ShersbyTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations his Department has received from the Northumbria police concerning exceptional radio interference on both VHF and UHF radio channels resulting from the European Cellnet system; what information he has on the extent to which this is causing a breakdown of communications between the command and control systems and police officers on the street; and what action he is taking to remendy this problem.
