Mr. Boyes

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) how many men and women hold non-commissioned officer rank in each of the forces; and what percentage of the total in the forces this represents by rank and sex;

(2) how many persons there are in Her Majesty's forces, by Navy, Army and Air Force and by men and women,

(3) how many persons there are in commissioned ranks by Navy, Army and Air Force; and what percentage of the total in each service is represented by (a) men and (6) women.
