To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many children are receiving out-of-county special residential education in Wales, and if he will give the per capita cost to each county over the past 10 years.

Information about children receiving out-of-county special residential education is not collected centrally. However the number of Welsh children receiving out-of-county special residential and non-residential education in maintained and independent schools in England and Wales over the past 10 years is as follows:
