§ Mr. Ken HargreavesTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what reply he has received from the authorities in the Federal Republic of Germany to his request to explore means of stopping the posting to the United Kingdom of promotional and entry material for lotteries based in West Germany.
§ Mr. John PattenThe authorities in the Federal Republic have expressed their readiness to co-operate in this exploration and, via the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, relevant information is being exchanged between them and the Home Office.
