§ Mr. MellorWe have received 219 letters from the general public specifically referring to our proposal to introduce an indicative prescribing budget scheme for general practitioners. In addition to these we have received almost 6,500 letters from the general public about the White Paper proposals, the majority of which have raised questions about, amongst other things, indicative prescribing budgets.
