§ Mr. NellistTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security when his Department intends to pay Mr. Pietro Camerino of 298 Harnall lane east, Coventry, the arrears of sickness and invalidity benefit that his Department's overseas branch has acknowledged are owed to Mr. Camerino since November 1984; if he intends to make any compensatory payment to Mr. Camerino; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter LloydBenefit has been paid to Mr. Camerino by his local social security office since 24 March 1989. Urgent arrangements are being made for the arrears of sickness benefit and invalidity benefit due from November 1984 to be paid to Mr. Camerino and payment should arrive shortly. A compensatory payment is being considered and I shall write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
