HL Deb 19 July 1989 vol 510 c902WA
Lord Swinfen

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have received the advice on airport capacity and air traffic distribution commissioned from the Civil Aviation Authority by the Secretary of State for Transport last summer.

Lord Brabazon of Tara

My right honourable friend has now received the authority's advice on air traffic distribution policy for airports serving the London area, and this has been published today as CAP 559. Copies have been placed in the Library. My right honourable friend will now consider the authority's advice, and will make a statement in due course. The authority proposes to undertake further work before offering advice on long-term strategic issues.
