§ Mrs. MahonTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what salary and performance-related pay Peter Griffiths, the head of the self-governing hospitals unit, receives; and on what kind of contract he is engaged.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeMr. Peter Griffiths is presently employed as general manager by South East Thames RHA on the normal terms and conditions of service for such appointments. He is made available to the NHS management executive by the RHA on a part-time basis. This arrangement will become full-time in September; the details are still under discussion.
