§ Mr. LathamTo ask the Attorney-General whether, pursuant to his letter to the hon. Member for Rutland and Melton dated 4 May, he will make a statement on the progress of his proposed application to the High Court under section 13 of the Coroners Act 1988 that the inquest into the death of the late Petty Officer John Black should be re-opened.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Treasury Solicitor has prepared a draft application and accompanying affidavit in support. When approved by me the application will be entered in the Crown Office.
