§ Mr. Chris PattenThe Lomé IV negotiations are making satisfactory progress and should be concluded by the end of the year. The next ACP-EC ministerial negotiating meeting is in Luxembourg on 10–12 October. I am participating in another round of discussions with my Community colleagues on 17 July.
