§ Mr. Martyn Jones
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list all sites of special scientific interest presently renotified under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 in England and Wales on a county by county basis.

§ Mrs. Virginia Bottomley
The Nature Conservancy Council is currently preparing an up-to-date list of SSSIs in England and Wales. I will write to the hon. Member 483W with this information as soon as it is available, and will arrange for a copy to be placed in the Library of the House.
