To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in theOfficial Report the 30 local authorities in England with the largest amounts of rate arrears, with the amounts outstanding and the number of people owing in each case.

The latest information from CIPFA published statistics on gross rate arrears, including non-domestic rate arrears, show that the 30 local authorities in England with the largest amounts of rate arrears are as below. Information about the number of people and businesses owning rates is not available.
