To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what measures his Department has taken to increase mobility for people with disabilities.

The many measures that we have taken and our plans for the future are set out in "Transport and Disability, a Statement of Aims and Priorities" recently published by the Department. Copies have been placed in the Library. Drawing on the expert advice of the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee, Britain is a world leader in improving mobility for disabled people.
