§ Mr. Michael ForsythCurrent difficulties in the fishing industry reflect the inevitable consequences of having to cut quotas to secure future stocks and prosperity. It would not be appropriate to provide any immediate financial aid to the industry which has had several successful years under the common fisheries policy.
