Sir Anthony Grant

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will set out in detail the benefits including telephone, travel, car, rates, etc., from public funds available to a registered disabled person over 90 years of age in receipt of a combined state and private pension totalling £68 per week; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Scott

The help available to a registered disabled person will vary according to the individual's needs and circumstances, and it is not possible to give the information requested. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind, he may wish to write to me so that the relevant details can be provided.
