To ask the Lord President of the Council how many right hon. and hon. Members regularly pay staff via the Fees Office; how many staff employees of Members are paid via the Fees Office; and how many contracts of employment of Members' staff have been lodged with the Fees Office.

As at 30 June 1989, the figures were 612, 1,287 and 709 respectively.
