§ Mr. HurdA postal bomb addressed to the Israeli ambassador was successfully defused by a Metropolitan police explosives officer at the embassy on 16 January. The package was posted in north London on 13 January, but it is not known who was responsible for sending the device. Police inquiries are continuing.
