Mr. McLeish

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the number of school leavers entering full-time degree courses at university in each of the years from 1982–83 to 1987–88, inclusive, and from each local education authority, including 16 subdivisions of Strathclyde; and if he will express these figures as a proportion of the number of students in s4, s5, and s6 in each authority.
