To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what recent representations he has received about the content of history syllabuses in use in secondary schools.

Various representations have been received over recent months mainly on issues such as bias and empathy. These will be further considered where appropriate by the national curriculum history working group whose establishment my right hon. Friend announced on 13 January.
