To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) if he will seek to obtain the hearings and reports from the United States Senate on Senate Bill 158 of the 97th Congress, session one; if he will place any such hearings and reports in the Library; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if he will seek to obtain the hearings and reports from the United States Senate on Senate joint resolution 110 of the 97th Congress, session one; if he will place any such hearings and reports in the Library; and if he will make a statement.

Her Majesty's embassy in Washington is looking into the possibility of obtaining these documents, and I shall write to my hon. Friend in due course.
