§ Mr. Michael ForsythAs from 1 April 1988, membership of the poultry health scheme will be conditional upon compliance with the code of practice for poultry breeders and hatcheries issued in December 1988. Compliance costs will vary according to the extent to which the current practices of companies on such aspects as hygiene and bacteriological monitoring are compatible with those laid down in the code.
