§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe Welsh Office contributed £25,000, over a three-year period, to support the work of the committee which co-ordinated arrangements for the numerous events to mark the 400th anniversary of the Welsh translation of the Bible. Celebration of the 800th anniversary of the travels of Gerald of Wales involved a number of events, including a major exhibition at the national museum of Wales. The final income and expenditure figures will take some time to establish.
