§ Mr. LangThe information is given in the table. Column(d) shows the ratio of Scottish "block" services to comparable expenditure in England, and is more meaningful than column (c) as the United Kingdom planning total includes expenditure in Scotland on services, for example defence and social security, which are not included in my right hon. and learned Friend's responsibilities. The figure for 1991–92 in column (d) is not available pending decisions on individual programmes.
